Indian Interior Design is a mix of the amalgamation of various Indian cultures, celebration History, Art, Tradition across the country. Traditional Patterns, textiles, and wood have played a very important role in most of the traditional Indian houses and Indian Bedroom Design, we can always see prints from across the country used in most of the Indian homes.
Indian interior design is a style that comes down to us from our Indian history and culture with mixed influences from different states and cities. Be it decorative motif architecture in temples from the south or the maze-like carvings seen on Mughal monuments, Indian interior design is heavily driven from all these sources. In the end, what we have is a style that is just as blended as our culture!
I personally think that we Indian’s are so blessed to have such a diverse culture that blends so well together and gives us so many options to decor our home with. Not just our interior design industry but our fashion industry is also heavily driven by our traditions and rich history of textiles and patterns.
In my opinion, the majority of us are losing that Indian touch when it comes to Indian home decor and we naturally run towards that modernize look and feel. Even a few months back I was also all about all whitey-white and modern furniture but when I researched Indian home decor I realized that there’s a lot that we can do with our traditional home decor style and keep our tradition alive in our homes.

Black can be a tricky color to be a part of interior design. It can make the look or break the look there’s nothing in between, especially when used as the wall color. A majority of people think that black is a depressing color when used in interior design, but it’s just nothing but a myth.
Black can be versatile when used right, here you can see the bed is in a very neutral tone with a lot of colorful cushions and quilt in different patterns but still complimenting each other very well. Wide windows and mirrors on the side tables are helping this room looking bigger and modern. Gold and silver touches are adding much sophistication to the room and complementing the rest of the décor as a whole.
