Hi All, so my new craze nowadays is skincare and I know you must be thinking; OH! it’s an interior blog then why is she talking about skincare, in my defense I think when we feel good we tend to think even more creatively so we all must take care of ourselves for getting better results in our work area. All said, now I should head to my new find Rose & Gold Serum and Facewash, it’s a homegrown brand and has been in the market since 1980 with a variety of products but in terms of skincare, they have introduced a limited product line with a face wash, cream, and serum.

My Experience:
I have got to know about this brand via Instagram and I found it very affordable so I decided to give it a try. I ordered Rose and Gold (R&G) Products online from their official website. I have been using Rose and Gold (R&G) Face Wash and Rose and Gold (R&G) Face Serum for the last 3 weeks and I must say I am a bit shocked with the results. I will share my experience product-wise so, here I go:
R&G Vitamin C Face Serum:
Packaging: From the price point of view they have quite a spectacular and luxurious feel like the packaging. This serum comes in an opaque glass bottle with a golden cap and also with a glass dropper for easy application. The bottle has all the necessary details about the product, including the complete list of components, usage directions, and caution printed on it. The packaging of the product is very sturdy, spillproof, and travel-friendly.
Fragrance: It has a mild rosy fragrance to it so folks with sensitive skin and noses can find it quite intimidating.
Color and Texture: R & G face serum has a transparent runny consistency and is colorless.
Performance: The serum is very hydrating and absorbs quickly into the skin. it is very light and doesn’t feel greasy at all. The serum has helped me fade away from my acne marks and brightened up my skin after a few applications. As we all know vitamin c can help reduce skin pigmentation so it did exactly the same for me, I had very light pigmentation around my mouth, and is slowly fading away now. I surely need to use it more to see the results I want but I think this serum is worth a try. One bottle of this serum can last up to 45-60 days because you need only 2-3 drops to cover your complete face.
R&G Face Wash:
Packaging: Again from the price point of view they have nailed the packaging. Rose And Gold Face Wash come in a light pink plastic tube with a golden flip-top cap. The label around the tube has all the necessary details about the product, including the complete list of components, usage directions, and caution printed on it. The packaging of the product is spill-proof and travel-friendly.
Fragrance: It has a mild rosy fragrance to it so folks with sensitive skin and noses can find it quite intimidating.
Color and Texture: R & G face wash is pink in color and has granules in it. It has a gel-like consistency.
Performance: Face wash cleanses the skin gently yet effectively without over-drying the skin. I don’t have much to say because it does the job as it claims, helped brighten up my skin, and cleansed it thoroughly. Because Glycolic acid does mildly exfoliate your skin in every use the dead skins cells don’t build up on your skin over time.
Overall, if you’re looking for affordable yet effective products then you can give Rose & Gold (R&G) a try and you won’t be disappointed at all.
